Why we put this guide together?

For as long as I can remember, sleep seemed to be something that everyone else could do with an ease that made me crazy with jealousy. I have never once fallen asleep, as the cliché puts it, the second my head hits the pillow. And naps are incomprehensible to me. I don't recall ever having one of those! I've always just generally struggled with sleep. 

At one point in my life, after a long period of stress, my insomnia took complete hold. And for anyone whose gone through this, that meant life as I knew it changed. My whole life became about trying to get to sleep. And when you reach that point, it becomes very difficult to get yourself out of that place.   

The problem with sleep advice 

The problem when you talk sleep problems to anyone is that every gives the same bland advice. This might work for people who are struggling to fall asleep but when insomnia becomes chronic, like it had done for me, that type of advice just isn't going to cut it anymore. 

The purpose of this download is to offer different advice, not the same bland boring advice which is continually given out. I hope it helps. Please get it touch if there is anything that worked for you and is missing from this download. I'd love to hear from you.
